Wikipedia versions of Polynesian History 2011 are Eurocentric and shameful

Within the last decade, Wikipedia has become known as "The Site of Misinformation" to most academics. It's probably the most politically controversal site online as well.

No one knows why on earth a site would claim to give information about "History" and then say it's "editable". That would mean that anyones history, is "editable".

Polynesians in 2011 who go overseas to get educated find out later in deeper studies during their education of the political and educational walls that have held back some important areas of development. In the age of 2011, it's being addressed.

It's hard to even think that a site that claims education would try and pull the Eurocentric veil of education over the eyes of Polynesian students today. The world is smaller and we can all research it's past into India, Africa, the Middle-east, and Asia Pacific.

Eurocentrics stop credit at around 1200's-1900's in most cases and don't go any further into giving academic credit say to the west asian - middle eastern - Asia and African scholars before them...

Everyone knows it, people aren't quite sure on how to address it though since racism is also a "tool" as is today's misinformation highways.

Racism is easily used as a defence or an attack or even worse, to divide interests of lets say a united cause or ideal.
